Ross Babbage

Former official in the Australian Department of Defence and the Office of National Assessments, a former senior executive of ADI Limited and a former Head of the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre at the Australian National University. Currently Managing Director of Strategy International.


 
Andrew Balmaks

Andrew Balmaks is a founder and Principal of the Noetic Group.  He is a former Army officer and has worked extensively on defence and security issues.  Andrew is currently a visiting fellow with the University of New South Wales and consults to a range of Government departments in Australia as well as to organisations in the US.


 

Peter Nicholson

Former senior Air Force officer who has held several operational command and strategic level joint staff appointments. He has commanded the RAAF combat force, served as the Head of Strategic Policy and Plans, and as the Chief Knowledge Officer of the Department of Defence.


 

Miles Jakeman

As JBS Managing Director, Miles regularly advises senior business leaders andgovernment officials, and has previously represented countries in ministerial forums. His key skills cover strategy, intelligence and security risk management. Miles is also actively involved in a range of mentoring programs including as an executive member of the ACT Capital Angels, which finances and mentors local business leaders.

   

Gary Waters

Gary Waters is a former senior RAAF officer and senior Defence public servant. He has also served as a Vice President of the United Services Institution of the ACT. He has written ten books on doctrine, strategy and historical aspects associated with the use of military force, the latest published in 2005. He currently works as Head Strategic Initiatives for Jacobs Australia.


 

Greg Hewson

Greg Hewson is retired from the Royal Australian Air Force and is now a Senior Associate with Booz & Company. Greg has written on national strategic policy and is currently consulting to Defence on strategy, operations and building effective capability.

   

Katherine Krilov

Katherine works within the Foreign Affairs portfolio in international development and has advanced university qualifications and multi-disciplinary experience in security and strategic affairs, international relations and development assistance. Katherine has represented the Government at senior levels in Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East.
